As part of the continuing EuroClio-Europaeum series this year, a special seminar discussion was organised at Leiden University on the theme Ending Slavery - views from Africa and the Caribbean on Friday, 18th April.
This joint programme offers in-depth knowledge of European history and institutions, their historical underpinnings and their socio-economic contexts. Applications are being accepted until end of May.
Fees are just €8,000 for the year.

The European Political Concepts Research Group, supported by the Europaeum, held its second meeting in Helsinki on Meanings of Rights and Democracy in Europe on 17-18th March.
The HEI (The Graduate Institute of International Studies) and IUED (The Graduate Institute of Development Studies) in Geneva, have merged to form a new institution called the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies on January 1st, 2008. Click here to view their new website.
