An international conference to commemorate 
The Europaeum is supporting a new initiative called the European Values Network, orgainsed by the Czech association European Values (Evropské hodnoty) and the Polish association Europe Future (Europa Przyszłości).
Dr Piotr Mikuli, Professor of Law at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, is currently a Europaeum Visiting Professor at the 
International Conference
The Europaeum is co-supporting an international conference in Prague on European Integration, co-ordinated by Professor Lubos Tichy, Professor of Law at Charles University, Prague, with Czech Deptuy Prime Minister Alexandr Vondra and Foreign Minister Karl Schwarzenberg as keynote speakers, along with MEP Daniel Cohn-Bendit. 
Following the Europaeum's recent conference in Washington DC, two specially commissioned essays by participants will shortly be published on this site: imagining US Foreign Policy "Without Europe" by Professor James Goldgeier and imagining European foreign policy "Without America" by Sir Stephen Wall. 
European History and Civilization
Professor Douwe Breimer transfers the rectorship of Leiden University to Professor Paul van der Heijden. Van der Heijden has been Rector Magnificus of the University of Amsterdam since 2002 and Professor of Employment Law at the Faculty of Law.
