Europaeum Visiting Professors |

|
The movement and exchange of academic staff between Europaeum member institutions, and beyond, supports the development of broader intellectual perspectives as well as promoting the exchange of ideas and providing an opportunity for new collaborative projects to be formulated and discussed. The Europaeum therefore supports academic mobility programmes.
Europaeum universities can apply for a Europaeum Visiting Chair, to be filled by a distinguished scholar from another partner institution. Typically, EVPs offer a seminar, lecture and/or supervise research students; they may also pursue personal research, work with collaborators, or plan collaboration opportunities.
Professor Christopher Browning, a world-renowned historian of the Holocaust, is the 2007 Bertelsmann Europaeum Visiting Professor of Twentieth Century Jewish Politics and History. He will give 4 lectures, and hold one seminar during the Trinity Term at Oxford University. Please see the Bertelsmann Lecture Programme for further details. |
