The final conference in The Hague will use the results from all the workshops, seminars, and lectures related to the project over the past year, and bring together coordinators from all separate events, as well as key-stakeholders in History Education, the Academic Study of History, and Human Rights Organisations. Key speakers include: Edward Lucas (The Economist), Chris Rowe (Council of Europe), Dr. Terri Kim (Brunel University; and Centre for Higher Education Research and Innovation), Dr. Eckhardt Fuchs (Georg-Eckert-Institut), Arjan Hamburger (Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Prof. R.T. Griffiths (Leiden University), Erik van der Dungen ( Director of National War and Resistance Museum), Dr. Dienke Hondius (Anne Frank Foundation, University of Amsterdam), Anne Bitterberg (Kamp Westerbork, Project Remembrance Srbrenica), Prof. Fred Corney (College of William and Mary, USA), Ms. Tamara Eidelman (President of Moscow History Teachers Association), Prof. Dr. Bob de Graaff (Leiden University), Tom van der Geugten (Fontys University of Applied Sciences), Mr. Steven van Hoogstraten (Director, Carnegie-Foundation), Prof. Jay Winter (Yale University), Prof. Vera Gowlland-Debbas (GIDD, Geneva), and Dr Tom Buchanen (Oxford University). It is hoped that the conference will develop into a publication, providing various European and Educational perspectives on the central theme of Human Rights, published by The Europaeum.
