Policy Making in Brussels ?
European Parliament & NATO, Brussels
10 – 12th November 2008
This is our second special three-day programme of talks, discussions,
interviews and special visits involving those at the sharp end
of policy and decision-making in Brussels. It has been organised
with colleagues in Lisbon and Leiden to focus on how European
policy is made in Brussels in a range of fields and disciplines.
The programme includes visits to the European Parliament and
NATO. Topics will include the role of EU Foreign Policy; The
impact of EU Economic Policy; Thinking Europe?; How Policy is
made in Brussels; and the role of European institutions.
This visit has been made possible with the generous support
of the European Parliament, the Institute of Politics, Catholic University of Portugal,
and the Europaeum association of universities. All participants
will, however, need to cover their own travel and contribute €100
towards overall costs (accommodation and set dinners).
