Humanitas Lectures - Institute for Strategic Dialogue
The first of an exciting new series of high-profile lectures, run under the title of Humanitas Lectures for Oxford and Cambridge took place in Oxford on November 29th, given by Lord Norman Foster, one of the world's leading architects, on the theme of urban sustainability. The series is the brain child of Lord (George) Weidenfeld, a principal founder of the Europaeum and of the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD). See Humanitas Visiting Professors Programme for more information. The ISD - formerly the Club of Three - is an independent think tank based in London, which works with leaders in government, business, media and academia to develop multi-country responses to major security and socio-economic challenges, and to enhance Europe’s capacity to act effectively in the global arena. Most recently the ISD has been managing the highly successful Weidenfeld Scholars Programme linked to the University of Oxford. Click here for more information !
