The Europaeum announces the 2011-2012 Jenkins Scholars
Five new Jenkins Scholars will start their academic studies at Europaeum-linked universities in September.
The scholarship scheme, which honours the former President of the European Commission and Chancellor of the University of Oxford, is linked to the Europaeum, which Roy Jenkins also helped to found in the 1990s to help academics, intellectuals and young scholars ‘bridge Europe’.
The new Jenkins Scholars for this 2011-12 academic year are:

Jenkins' Scholars Elected
Lord JenkinsFour new Jenkins Scholars have just started their studies at Europaeum universities - three awards at Oxford, and one award at Europaeum university. For full details see the attached press notice. In addition, one Oxford scholar denied access to Geneva, elected earlier, will be carrying out his studies this year. Two other elected scholars have not taken up their studies - one dropped out and another chose to take up an alternative scholarship award.
