The Europaeum and EUROCLIO are launching a new year-long project Connecting Europe through History II on Migration 2009 - 2010 following the success of last year's conference on human rights.
This new project being run in partnership with EuroClio History Teachers Association and the International History Students Association backed by the EU to promote links between university and school historians will be launched by the Secretary-General at the Krakow graduate workshop. The Europaeum is planning to link events - to be held over the coming academic year at Krakow, Bologna, Leiden, Oxford and possibly Paris and Brussels - to this project, focusing on themes related to the movements of people in and across Europe, and inviting local history teachers to join select discussions. An introduction to the project via powerpoint is available here. |
